About Us

With this website we are exposing Seattle, Washington and the Northwest region to our group of tabla players and students centered around our teacher Vishal Nagar. Since Vishal began spending summers in Seattle in 1996, he has been a local ambassador for the instrument and played a key role is its increased popularity.

This site will provide information about our group, as well as support for those already involved in the tabla world. We will also endeavor to keep you updated on news regarding concerts by students as well as other South Asian musical events in the area. And of course, we would like you to get involved.
